The Bushbabies Eco-Education Project
The Bushbabies Eco-Education Project is based at Galago farm in the Lower Mpushini Valley Conservancy. It targets mainly school children in junior primary and senior primary schools although, at times, high school pupils are also catered for.

A group of school children investigating some of the smaller creatures.
The main aim of the project is to introduce young children to the wonders of nature and to influence their way of life so that they will always be aware of their living environments and the damage that thoughtless activities can have on their lives and their surroundings. All activities that the children take part in are designed to influence their minds so that they will respect and care for all the creatures that share their world with them.

A group of high school pupils building a stile on a trail.
The older children take part in activities that have a direct bearing on outdoor life and nature conservation. Typical activities include the clearing of alien invader plants, trail building and maintenance and discovering the inerrelationships between the elements that make up an ecosystem.
All activities are designed to be relevent to themes that the children are learning at school and the programmes are designed in consultation with their class teachers.
